Panthers Boys Basketball in Quarterfinals
The KN boys are still in the Class 3 playoffs after winning their districts in a tight game against Richmond and then a sectional victory versus Cameron. This Saturday the team squares off against Lee’s Summit Community Christian at 1:00 pm. The game will be held at Staley High School in Kansas City. It will also be broadcast live by KXKX radio.
Homecoming Weekend Set for 2009
This year’s homecoming will be earlier than normal. Knob Noster will play host to the Concordia Orioles on September 11, 2009. At least one class is considering homecoming weekend for reunions so we hope this information will help you get a date set so that alums can make travel plans.
Lots of Class Reunions in the Works
If you add up all of the KNAA.org members that are having class reunions this year or next it’s over one third of our membership. Looks like you’ll have plenty of opportunity to get together with former classmates this year. Log in at www.KNAA.org for the details but the following classes have plans in the works for this year:
1975 - 1978 (June 12 & 13, 2009)
1979 (June 12 - 14, 2009)
1989 –-1990 (June 5 – 7, 2009)
1994 (Homecoming weekend – September 10-12, 2009: tentative)
1999 (August 7 – 9, 2009)
1972 (September 3 – 5, 2010) – Note that this is next year’s plans
