Homecoming Weekend Set for 2009
This year's homecoming will be earlier than normal. Knob Noster will play host to the Concordia Orioles on September 11, 2009. Some classes are considering homecoming weekend for reunions so we hope this information will help you get a date set so that alums can make travel plans.
In Memoriam
Our beloved son, grandson, and brother, Patrick Scott "Donavon" Lauderdale, began his Heavenly voyage Sunday afternoon, 11 January 2009. Patrick was born 30 August 1963, in San Antonio, Texas. He lived as an Air Force "brat", graduating from Knob Noster High School in 1982 and attending Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, Missouri before enlisting in the Navy. Before medically retiring in Pensacola, Pat served as a Photo Journalist aboard the USS Nashville (LPD-13) and USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). After a long bout of illnesses, Pat escaped from his earthly host to join both his earthly and Heavenly fathers. Pat was a licensed Baptist minister, lover of songs, birds, animals, and the Church. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Susan Elaine Lauderdale; his grandmother, Mrs. Eva Scott; his sister Robin Chamberlain and husband, Chuz, their children, Kara Chamberlain and Ceylona and Aaron Chapman, great nephew Elijah Charles Chapman; his brother Peter Lauderdale and wife, Lynn, and son, Robert, all of Niceville, Florida; his sister Ceylona Creighton and her family of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
