Homecoming Weekend Details
Homecoming 2008 is next week and there are lots of activities that alumni can participate in. Be sure to wear your orange and black, including letter jackets. We hope that you’ll take time to come to as many activities as possible. Here’s a rundown of what to expect.
Friday, Sept. 19
2:00 pm Pep Assembly in KNHS gym. Special seating area for alumni
4:00 pm Homecoming parade. Congregate downtown at the 4-way stop to watch the parade.
5:30 pm KNHS building tour led by Principal Royal Peterson (all classes invited)
5:45 pm Tailgating tent sponsored by First Community Bank
6:00 pm Alumni tent opens. Stop by with your coupon for a free Panther megaphone or buy several for $1.00 each.
6:30 pm Alumni line up on track near west end of field for introduction.
6:40 pm Dedication of new track and field
7:00 pm Game time vs. Holden
Post Game The lights will remain on and everyone will have the chance to check out the track and field up close. Say hello to the players as they return for a “Sonic Meal” after they change in the locker room.
Saturday, Sept. 20
11:00 am – 2:00 pm Reunion for Classes of 1944, 45 and 46 at King’s Chef Buffet in Warrensburg
6:30 pm Class of 1998 Reunion at Heroes in Warrensburg
Sunday, Sept. 21
1:00 pm All-School Reunion in the Middle School cafeteria. Bring a couple of dishes to share. All KNHS graduates are welcome
Are You Attending Homecoming?
Register online so that fellow classmates will see that you’re attending. In addition, by registering you can print out a coupon for a free Panther megaphone sporting the new Panther logo.
Panther Football Highlights
We wish we could do a highlight video of all the Panther sports but, alas, we have enough trouble keeping up with our son's games. We've been making a weekly highlight video for the players and parents so decided to share it with interested alums as well. Visit www.KNAA.org/football to watch the games.
