Can You Add to Our Archives
We’ve added an Archives section under the Panther Pride section of KNAA.org.  We currently have a history of the class of 1956, a 1979 Knobna, some graduation programs from the 70s and 80s, as well as other miscellaneous documents that have been scanned in. If you have documents or papers you’d be willing to scan we’d love to add them.  Please contact info@KNAA.org for details of formatting them for the web site.  Thanks to Dorothy Lynde Grove (’56) and Scott Clark (’80) for their contributions to this section of the site.

Class of 1973 Reunion
KNHS class of 1973 is planning its 35 year reunion for the weekend of July 5.  Tentative plans call for an event at Crown Center in Kansas City as has been done in the past.  Contact Steve Elmore at SLElmore@foleyeq.com for more information.  Others planning the event include Steve Perkins, Dennis Gebhart, Tom Maxwell, Rick Zink and Dan MacDougall.  Please watch this newsletter of www.KNAA.org for more information in coming weeks.

Buy a Wristband, Encourage a Senior
Thank you to all those who have already contributed to Senior Send Off. Senior Send Off is our annual opportunity to meet with the graduating seniors to tell them about our organization and to encourage them to use the web site to help keep in touch. During the meeting we like to give each of the graduates some sort of gift. This year we plan to hand out black wristbands with orange lettering that says, "KNHS - We Bleed Orange."

The send off will be held in May and we're asking alumni members to help fund the bracelets. For a donation of $10 you can purchase 3 bracelets: one for you and two for graduating seniors. Or you can choose to have all 3 given to the seniors. If you'd like to help out, please log on and click the Senior Send Off link on the home page.

In Memoriam
A note from Vicki Wharton (Koontz, class of 1966).  Lucille Wharton passed away February 2, 2008 in Connecticut.  She was the mother of 5 children who attended all of their schooling in Knob Noster.  She was a cook at the school kitchen, her husband, Ermile was a bus driver.  Her sons that passed before her were Dale Wharton, Larry Wharton, and Jerry Wharton (my husband). Her daughter Judy resides in Connecticut, she and her family are the only ones that have been caring for her these past several years.  I am sure many remember all of the Whartons and would want to know that Lucille has gone on to be with her boys.
