Thanks Alumni Choir & Band Members
As part of KNHS Christmas Concert tradition KN chorus and band alumni are invited to come back and participate in “Carol of the Bells” and “Sleigh Ride”, respectively. The number of alumni participating this year increased by several. We’ll have photos of the event as soon as we get all the alumni identified.
Class of 1988 20-Year Reunion Plans
Tentative plans have been set for this reunion beginning Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19, 2008. Class members mark your calendars now and plan to come back to Knob for the reunion. Watch KNAA.org for more details or contact Tonyea (Owens) Inglis at kandtinglis@yahoo.com.
Panther Stadium Update
Knob Noster Panthers Stadium is in the planning stages of a major facelift. Current plans call for the expansion of the track to 8 lanes with an all-weather surface. In addition, the football field will be replaced with artificial turf. The new track and turf surfaces will not only enhance the look of the stadium but will also increase the number of events that can be held in Panther Stadium. Demolition of existing track and field surfaces is expected to begin immediately after the May 2008 graduation.
The KN school district has also purchased land on the north side of Knob Noster to build a new baseball and softball complex. The main fields will have grass infields and will comply with baseball and softball standards. This should help KN host large events such as conference and district tournaments.
Watch KNAA.org and this newsletter for photos and more information as these projects get underway.
Come to a Game or a Match
Interested in coming back to cheer on your favorite Panther team. Visit the High School Events Calendar to find out when the Panthers are in town.
Can You Help Us With Bad Emails?
A lot of KN alums are not receiving communications from KNAA.org because their e-mail addresses are out of date. Please log in at KNAA.org, click on “Alumni”, then “Help With Bad Emails” to see if any of your contacts are on the list. If they are, please let them know so they can go online and update their profile.
Panthers Past
Several of our members volunteered to donate to our Panthers Past display at the high school. However, as of this time, only a few have actually contributed their donations. If you were a prospective donor please contact info@KNAA.org to find out how to get us your donation. We have the space in a brand new trophy case in the gym lobby. Now we just need the artifacts. Thanks for your help. If you are interesting in donating and wonder what sorts of things we’re looking for, please visit www.KNAA.org/pride_past.cfm
